Vision AI’s strap detection systems employ advanced image recognition algorithms to accurately measure and identify missing, misaligned, twisted, or frayed pallet straps.

The advanced vision analysis engine allows dynamic measurement of straps in their natural background/layer profile, by generating a detailed 3D model to perform this analysis. The system can automatically re-reference in real time to allow for height/left/right deviation as it transfers over conveyors (including titled pallet stacks). This engine eliminates the need for regular calibration functions, with only maintenance needed to maintain the conveyor reference alignment.

The 3D modelling system includes a laser line generator which allows very high contrast images to be captured, outside of ‘normal’ factory lighting and reflection eliminating disruption from these factors. The system is supplied with one program containing all the measurement and detection specifications/fault conditions, with capacity to develop and expand other profile programs if required.

We offer this solution with upmost confidence to deliver better outcomes over traditional 2D feature detection systems which are heavily tuned for the site product/conditions.
