Meet the Team
I started Vision AI with a focus and energy to lead technology advancement into Australian Industry, specifically in the space of my Automation passion, robots and vision. I set about disrupting the status quo of Engineering, by developing and building systems which are difficult, have risk and in recent real world applications, first in world. There are many challenging and exciting technologies to play with in Automation and Engineering, I love all of it and whilst a geek at heart, the most exciting thing is seeing systems put together by dedicated and passionate people and teams.
I set about creating a business where proven hard work is rewarded, respect and accountability are fundamental and appreciation is real. To me in Engineering, the only thing that really matters is our people, technology is the provider of our creativity. Success is many things, to us its proud delivery of machine and systems for our clients, represented by an honest commitment to work collaboratively with shared outcomes. My goal is to make Vision AI a leader in Automation, maybe a globally recognised brand that Lives for Purpose, and delivers undeniable change to Industry.
Hi, I'm Varad. I am an Automation Engineer working in the field of Robotics, Automation, and Vision Applications. I joined the team as a graduate engineer, after completing my master's at Australian National University. I was hunting for jobs related to automation, robotics, and vision, where at Vision AI it is a perfect combination of all three and aligns with my passion. The culture here is homely and the working environment is diverse which helps me to work freely. My passion to design, develop and implement complex engineering applications is met here at Vision AI.
I learn new things every day that keep me excited. I am honoured to work alongside experienced engineers and learn from them. My first project in this company was to commission a semi-automated Robotic Truss Manufacturing System for an American company. It was fun to teach the robots, develop HMI and dive into PLC codes. At Vision AI we sometimes are tackled with challenges and difficulties but the support we get from our senior engineers ensures successful outcomes. As a team we are always encouraging each other to think creatively to reach our solutions, enabling us to grow and become better versions of ourselves.
